Project Bluebird: Paving the Way for a Legacy
Legacy Voyages has built schools in Belize, provided laptops in Kenya, funded X-ray machines in Honduras, and supported entrepreneurs in Peru. Now, we’re embarking on a new kind of project: honoring the legacy of Sunny Dooley, a renowned Navajo storyteller and cultural consultant.
For over 30 years, Sunny has shared the rich traditions of the Diné people worldwide. Now, she dreams of transforming her family home and hogan into a haven for healing and storytelling. But the impassable dirt road to her property stands in the way.
Project Bluebird: Phase 1
In Phase 1 of Project Bluebird, we aim to raise $55,000 to gravel the road, provide access to well water, and begin restoration on Sunny’s ancestral property. Your support will help preserve the heritage of the Navajo people.
